NW Dance Project is a contemporary dance company known for its innovative performances and professional training programs.
Each summer, NW Dance Project offers Summer Dance Intensives for ages 8 to 18 and weekly summer session classes for ages 4 to 12, focusing on ballet, contemporary, jazz, improvisation, and creative movement.
Programs are held at their Creative Center and Studio in Portland’s Lloyd District.

Get ready to move, groove, and grow in our exciting five-week summer session—perfect for budding dancers at all three of our introductory levels! With weekly classes designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having a blast, this session is a fantastic way for new students to get to know our studio and for returning dancers to stay sharp and confident. Each class blends fundamental dance techniques with musicality, coordination, and tons of creative expression, making every week an energetic celebration of movement and fun!
