Learn all the tools you need for any adventure! This camp is a hands-on masterclass in self-reliance and outdoor skill-building. From foraging for food to mastering tool safety and water purification, you’ll learn the secrets of the high desert. But it's not all hard work—you’ll still have plenty of time for pajamas-at-breakfast, river splashes, and perfectly roasted s'mores. It’s a great environment for newcomers to learn the ropes and for experienced campers to sharpen their techniques. Ready to become a desert survival pro?

All check-ins and pick-ups will take place across from OMSI’s North Parking Lot, located at: 1800 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214.
Check-in is at 7am on the start date of the program, and pick-up for OMSI Ambassadors is at 2pm.
