OMSI

OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.

Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.

Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!

About the activity:

Looking for a camp with a great atmosphere? Look no further than Galaxy Adventurers! This is your chance to use OMSI’s "fancy" equipment to navigate the deep reaches of space. You’ll develop the skills to track star clusters and ponder the big questions—like whether we’re alone in the universe—with a crew of like-minded explorers. With the desert’s famous dark skies, you’ll have hours of uninterrupted telescope time. This adventure perfectly blends high-science stargazing with river-splashing, campfire-singing fun!

All check-ins and pick-ups will take place across from OMSI’s North Parking Lot, located at: 1800 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214.
Check-in is at 7am on the start date of the program, and pick-up for OMSI Ambassadors is at 2pm.
