Cub Scout Day Camps
Cub Scout Day Camps, run by the Cascade Pacific Council of Scouting America, provide outdoor adventure and skill-building experiences for youth and their families.
Each summer, Cub Scout camps offer programs for children entering grades 1–5, with activities such as horseback riding, crafts, and nature exploration.
Camps are held at locations throughout the Portland metro area and the broader Cascade Pacific Council region, including sites like Butte Creek Scout Ranch in the Willamette Valley.
About the activity:
An immersive 5-night overnight experience at Camp Baldwin designed to prepare Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts for Scouts BSA. Scouts ride horses through scenic trails, tackle Class 3+ white-water rapids, rappel real rock faces, mountain bike through forest terrain, and master archery, shooting sports, swimming, and fishing. Two August sessions available in 2026. Hosted by Cascade Pacific Council, Scouting America, at Camp Baldwin in Dufur, Oregon.
