Cub Scout Day Camps
Cub Scout Day Camps, run by the Cascade Pacific Council of Scouting America, provide outdoor adventure and skill-building experiences for youth and their families.
Each summer, Cub Scout camps offer programs for children entering grades 1–5, with activities such as horseback riding, crafts, and nature exploration.
Camps are held at locations throughout the Portland metro area and the broader Cascade Pacific Council region, including sites like Butte Creek Scout Ranch in the Willamette Valley.
About the activity:
A pack-level adventure weekend at Camp Meriwether on the Oregon Coast for all Cub Scouts and their families. Climb the camp's climbing tower, take aim at BB guns, slingshot, and archery ranges, learn classic Scouting skills, and explore hands-on science activities. Flag ceremonies and campfire activities round out the weekend. Meals provided throughout. All Cub Scout ranks welcome, from Lion through Arrow of Light, ages 5–11.
