Get ready for an extraordinary adventure! Become a drop of water as you spend the week exploring the Balch Creek watershed. Come learn about many plants and animals that call this place home and its importance in our greater Forest Park ecosystem as a refuge for endangered species. We’ll head out to the creek with microscope in hand to discover invisible creatures living in a single drop of water and collect water samples to test temperature and quality. We’ll play games where we discover the journey of single drop of water from the clouds to the oceans, get creative with water based art projects and work together take a pledge to protect the waterways of our forests. Explore new horizons, uncover hidden wonders, and immerse yourself in a week filled with excitement, curiosity, and fun.
