Engineering For Kids of Portland Metro offers hands-on STEM programs for children aged 4 to 14, including classes, camps, and workshops in robotics, coding, and engineering. Their engaging activities foster critical thinking and creativity in a fun, supportive environment. With a focus on inspiring the next generation of innovators, they make STEM learning exciting and accessible.

About the activity:

When your favorite song plays, do you sit still or dance along? In Musical Adventures with Scratch and Makey Makey, students will explore how sounds are made and design their own versions of musical instruments like drums, pianos, guitars, and more. They’ll even create a dancing program to bring their music to life! The week wraps up with a fantastic mini concert starring all our students. Let’s make some noise!
