About the activity:

Prerequisites: Prior coding experience and Minecraft Java Edition are required. If you don’t already have Minecraft Java Edition, you can purchase it through the official Minecraft website. Other versions, such as iPad, Xbox, or Windows 10, are not compatible with the modding in this camp.

Class Description: Calling all experienced Minecrafters! Take your game to the next level by learning how to build your own Minecraft mods (modifications). This course is designed for students with prior coding experience who are ready to dive deeper into modding and programming. You’ll sharpen your skills while exploring essential coding concepts like Loops, Conditionals, and Variables, then apply them to create exciting projects on your very own Minecraft server. From coding a custom magic wand and unique chat commands to designing engaging mini-games, you’ll unleash your creativity and problem-solving abilities while enhancing your favorite game.
