Upcycled Fashion- 7th & 8th grade Girls

About the activity:

Transform the old into something stunning and new at our upcycling camp! Campers will unleash their creativity by turning discarded materials into mixed media collages, sculptures, jewelry, fashion, and more. With 84% of clothing ending up in landfills and incinerators, it’s more important than ever to understand the impact of what we buy, use, and throw away. Throughout the week, participants will explore the environmental effects of fast fashion and textile waste while discovering sustainable manufacturing practices and companies leading the charge for positive change. Don’t miss the grand finale—parents are invited to join us on Friday at 12:00 PM for an exciting fashion show featuring the innovative creations from the week!
