NW Kidney Kids, Inc. provides support and programs for children and teens with kidney disease and their families.
Each summer, NW Kidney Kids offers specialized camps for youth ages 2–18 who are living with kidney disease or have received a kidney transplant, focusing on connection, recreation, and peer support.
Camps are held in the Portland metro area, serving families from across the Pacific Northwest.
About the activity:
NW Kidney Kids Youth Camp offers a free week-long overnight summer camp for Oregon children living with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Open to kids entering 5th grade through high school seniors who are on dialysis, post-transplant, or referred for transplant. Campers enjoy outdoor activities and peer connections with others facing similar journeys at the Oregon Outdoor Education Center in Salem. Registration opens April 1, 2026.
