Gilchrist Art Camp, located in Beaverton, Oregon, offers art-focused summer camps for children aged 5 to 12. Founded in 2007 by Lisa Gilchrist Peterson, the camp emphasizes creativity through the use of found, recycled, and professional-grade materials. Each week features a unique theme, with activities such as ceramics, painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
About the activity:
When school’s out, we’ve got you covered—and we believe kids can never have too much art! Following the Beaverton, Tigard/Tualatin, and Portland school district calendars, we pack each scheduled day off with a full day in the studio filled with fun, imaginative, and delightfully messy creations. If your school has a day off that’s not on our list, just let us know—gather six (or more) kids, and we’ll happily run a camp so the creativity never skips a beat!
