NW Children's Theater & School

Northwest Children's Theater & School is a leading Portland arts institution dedicated to educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of young audiences through live theater and performing arts education.

Each summer, NWCT offers theater camps for ages 4–14, with programs ranging from creative play for young children to full musical productions for older youth.

Camps are held at multiple locations, including downtown Portland, northeast and southeast Portland, Beaverton, and Sherwood.

About the activity:

Blast off with Princess Peach on a galaxy-spanning adventure where every planet brings a new challenge to explore! Campers team up with familiar heroes like Mario, Luigi, and Toad as they discover strange new worlds, outsmart mischievous foes, and invent bold solutions to cosmic problems. With shimmering stars, daring missions, and surprise visits from friends across the Mushroom Kingdom, this immersive camp lets kids chart their own path through a universe bursting with color, courage, and interstellar fun.

NWCT Explore Camps combine adventures, imaginative world-building, and role-playing to immerse students in theater. An informal demonstration will occur during the last 15 minutes of the final day of camp.
