Designed for students who wish to take a full year of Geometry over the summer, this course will focus on measurement, properties of circles and polygons, the concepts of congruence and similarity, and an introduction to trigonometric ratios. This course provides the students with the opportunity to advance to Algebra II for the next school year. Students are required to complete three years of on-site mathematics to meet graduation requirements. Students taking Geometry (1 credit) for advancement purposes will be awarded credit. This credit will not be included in GPA calculations. Students must earn a grade of B or higher to advance.
Credit: MAT 0.5/1.0 (one section = .5 credit; both sections =1.0 credit)
