Let your child’s imagination soar in this hands-on miniature world-building camp for kids ages 8-10! Guided by teaching artist Teeny Conway, campers will work together to design and construct tiny, intricate communities while learning essential design principles like layout, scale, symmetry, and balance. Using everyday materials such as clay, paper, foam, wire, and wood, they’ll create detailed environments and dream up the creatures that inhabit them. Campers will also explore sustainable design concepts, reflecting shared values within their miniature worlds. Along the way, they’ll experiment with basic engineering and architectural techniques to ensure their creations are both sturdy and imaginative. Through teamwork and problem-solving, campers will develop collaboration skills and discover the joy of turning big ideas into small, magical realities!
