SWIFTS Nature Summer Camp (Bird Alliance of Oregon)
SWIFTS Nature Summer Camp, run by the Bird Alliance of Oregon, offers nature-based day camps that blend science, art, and outdoor exploration for youth.
Summer programming includes week-long camps for children entering grades 1–12, with activities tailored by age group and options for both westside and eastside locations.
Camps are held at the Bird Alliance of Oregon’s 172-acre wildlife sanctuary in Northwest Portland, at Topaz Farm on Sauvie Island, and at various green spaces across the city, including eastside pick-up at Glenhaven Park.
About the activity:
Budding environmentalists ages 6-8 become Earth protectors through hands-on science activities, nature exploration, and arts and crafts in Bird Alliance's Forest Park Sanctuary. Build environmental awareness and a passion for protecting Portland's natural world.
