OMSI

OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.

Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.

Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!

About the activity:

The Oregon Coast is your canvas! Join us for a week where creativity meets discovery as you take on design projects inspired by the surrounding forests and ocean. This session offers a unique way to study ecology through the lens of a maker, blending scientific curiosity with artistic play. A highlight of the week is working alongside OMSI staff to co-create a permanent art installation for the Camp Gray site. Between projects, you'll enjoy classic beach games, evening campfires, and plenty of time to bond with your cabin mates and friends.

All check-ins and pick-ups will take place across from OMSI’s North Parking Lot, located at: 1800 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214.
Check-in is at 7am on the start date of the program, and pick-up is at 5:00pm on the end date of the program.
