Coding with Kids
Coding with Kids offers technology education programs that teach children and teens computer programming through hands-on projects and a progressive curriculum.
Each summer, Coding with Kids runs in-person coding camps for ages 5–18, with small group instruction and options ranging from beginner to advanced, including specialties like Minecraft Modding, Roblox, Python, and robotics.
Camps are held in various neighborhoods across major metro areas, including Portland, Seattle, Austin, Denver/Boulder, Phoenix, and more.
About the activity:
Young coders build their first Python programs in this hands-on beginner camp at Experiment PDX in Portland. Students write real scripts, work through puzzles, and develop foundational skills in one of the world's most popular coding languages. Small groups ensure personalized instruction throughout the week.
