The Bird Alliance of Oregon, formerly the Audubon Society of Portland, is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting birds, wildlife, and their habitats through conservation, education, and advocacy. Founded in 1902, they operate a 172-acre wildlife sanctuary and the state's oldest wildlife rehabilitation center. Committed to equity and environmental stewardship, they recently acquired land for a new Wildlife Care Center and nature sanctuary, further advancing their mission to inspire people to love and protect nature.

About the activity:

Get ready for an extraordinary adventure! Travel up, down and deep into our Sanctuary to practice your stealth and hiding skills. We’ll learn what type of movements allow us to travel undetected through the woods, how we can learn from animals to better camouflage ourselves and hone our observation skills as we search for these elusive creatures. Play games that mimic the incredible interaction between those that hunt and those that escape, investigate specimens to explore how different animals blend in and get creative with art projects that help you stay hidden Explore new horizons, uncover hidden wonders, and immerse yourself in a week filled with excitement, curiosity, and fun.
