About the activity:

Our one-week Adventure Summer Camp immerses 2nd–7th graders in real, local outdoor settings where they create exciting and meaningful experiences every day. Whether they’re brand new or returning campers, each week is filled with fresh challenges—from mountain biking and rock climbing at a local crag to hiking trails and paddling on a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. Every activity is thoughtfully matched to each camper’s age and ability so everyone can feel challenged, supported, and successful.

Campers are grouped by grade range so they can grow their skills and confidence year after year. Second through fourth graders focus on becoming comfortable with new activities, supported by encouraging instructors and experienced returning campers. In fifth through seventh grade, the emphasis shifts to teamwork, leadership, and building stronger technical skills.

Each day, parents and campers meet our staff at a consistent drop-off location. Avid4 Adventure provides transportation to the day’s recreation sites, and groups return to the same meeting place for afternoon pickup.

Guided by top-notch outdoor instructors, campers gain the skills and self-confidence that set them up for a lifetime of rewarding and adventurous time outdoors.
