Backbeat Music Academy offers music lessons for children and adults, focusing on exploration, creativity, and building confidence through a variety of instruments and group band experiences.
Each summer, Backbeat Music Academy runs music camps for kids, including rock band, songwriting, strings, and computer game music composition, with programs available for ages 3 and up.
The academy is located in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood of southwest Portland.
About the activity:
This is a M-F, 9am-4pm camp that combines the Try Everything camp with a Rock Band camp. Campers will split their time between band rehearsals, with a concert at the end of the week, learning new instruments and practice time on their chosen instrument.
