Northwest Children's Theater & School is a leading Portland arts institution dedicated to educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of young audiences through live theater and performing arts education.
Each summer, NWCT offers theater camps for ages 4–14, with programs ranging from creative play for young children to full musical productions for older youth.
Camps are held at multiple locations, including downtown Portland, northeast and southeast Portland, Beaverton, and Sherwood.
About the activity:
Step into the charming world of A Year with Frog and Toad, where friendship, seasons, and simple joys come to life onstage. Campers rehearse a fully staged play inspired by the beloved stories, filled with cozy adventures, quirky neighbors, and warm-hearted humor. From crisp fall leaves to springtime surprises, this camp celebrates the magic of the everyday in a performance as sweet and timeless as Frog and Toad themselves.
Performance Camps are all about putting on a play or musical. Students audition, rehearse, and perform. Families and friends are invited to the final performance held on the last Friday of camp.
