About the activity:

Dive into the marine wonders of Newport! Based at Camp Gray, this session features daily expeditions to local estuaries, beaches, and tide pools to investigate the incredible biodiversity of the coast. After studying tide pool inhabitants firsthand, we’ll board a sea life cruise to search for gray whales, sea lions, and coastal birds in their natural habitat. Guided by experienced OMSI instructors, campers will gain a deep understanding of coastal ecosystems and see the Pacific Northwest like never before.

All check-ins and pick-ups will take place across from OMSI’s North Parking Lot, located at: 1800 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214.
Check-in is at 7am on the start date of the program, and pick-up is at 5:00pm on the end date of the program.
