Willamette Sailing Club
Willamette Sailing Club is dedicated to teaching small boat sailing and water safety to youth and adults, with a focus on hands-on learning and skill development.
Each summer, the club offers week-long sailing camps for ages 5-18, including beginner and intermediate classes for ages 8-11, with sessions led by US Sailing certified instructors.
Located on the Willamette River in the South Waterfront neighborhood of Portland.
About the activity:
Young sailors master the basics of small boat rigging and handling on one-person SailQubes at this 5-day Monday-Friday morning camp on the Willamette River. US Sailing certified instructors lead hands-on beginner and intermediate sessions with an emphasis on water safety, boat control, and fun. A swim comfort check with a life jacket is required. Ten summer sessions available.
