Coding with Kids
Coding with Kids offers technology education programs that teach children and teens computer programming through hands-on projects and a progressive curriculum.
Each summer, Coding with Kids runs in-person coding camps for ages 5–18, with small group instruction and options ranging from beginner to advanced, including specialties like Minecraft Modding, Roblox, Python, and robotics.
Camps are held in various neighborhoods across major metro areas, including Portland, Seattle, Austin, Denver/Boulder, Phoenix, and more.
About the activity:
Roblox fans become game developers in this full-day coding and outdoor adventure camp. Morning sessions teach Lua scripting and 3D game design within the Roblox Studio platform, while afternoons offer creative STEAM challenges and outdoor exploration. Students finish the week with a publishable Roblox game of their own design.
