Summer chess camps are available for children and youth, serving a wide range of ages and experience levels.
Programs are held in neighborhoods throughout Portland, Beaverton, and Bend.
About the activity:
Young chess players in grades 2-8 sharpen their skills through tournament play, puzzle training, and game analysis at these week-long Portland chess camps. Themed sessions run February through August at Southwest Portland church locations. Recreational breaks include Giant Chess, badminton, and blindfold chess variants.
