Pedalheads is a children’s program specializing in bike, swim, and trail riding instruction, with a focus on building confidence and skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Each summer, Pedalheads offers camps for kids as young as 2 up to 12, with age-appropriate programs in biking, swimming, and soccer.
Camps are held in neighborhoods across major cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Portland, with locations typically in parks or community centers.
About the activity:
Young cyclists ages 4-10 explore Portland's Sellwood Riverfront Park and surrounding trails at Pedalheads' Trail Camp, based at Reedwood Friends Church in Sellwood/Reed. Half-day sessions (AM and PM) cover technical trail skills with at least 2 hours of continuous riding per day. Morning and afternoon slots available weekly through summer 2026.
