Coding with Kids
Coding with Kids offers technology education programs that teach children and teens computer programming through hands-on projects and a progressive curriculum.
Each summer, Coding with Kids runs in-person coding camps for ages 5–18, with small group instruction and options ranging from beginner to advanced, including specialties like Minecraft Modding, Roblox, Python, and robotics.
Camps are held in various neighborhoods across major metro areas, including Portland, Seattle, Austin, Denver/Boulder, Phoenix, and more.
About the activity:
No coding experience needed to start modding Minecraft! This beginner-friendly camp guides new coders through their first Java programming concepts using Minecraft as the canvas. Kids build custom mods step by step, making coding feel intuitive and immediately rewarding from day one.
