Spark your child’s love of music in this high-energy, five-day DJ camp for kids ages 8–10, led by Portland-based DJ Ambush! In a fun and supportive environment, campers will dive into the basics of DJing using kid-friendly equipment, learning how mixers, controllers, and music software work together. Along the way, they’ll explore music fundamentals like rhythm, tempo, and song structure while practicing beginner DJ skills such as beat matching, mixing tracks, and creating smooth transitions. Through playful experimentation and group collaboration, campers will build confidence, teamwork skills, and discover how music can tell a story and connect with an audience—then wrap up the week with an exciting DJ showcase for friends and family that celebrates their creativity and new skills.
