Oregon Irish Dance Academy specializes in teaching traditional Irish dance to children in a fun and supportive environment.
Each summer, the academy offers three-day Irish Dance Camps for beginners and current students ages 5 to 10, featuring dance lessons, crafts, games, and group activities.
Camps are held at The Children's Gym in the Kerns neighborhood of northeast Portland.
About the activity:
Explore the joy of Irish dancing at this beginner-friendly 3-day camp held at The Children's Gym in Portland. Young dancers ages 5-10 enjoy light shoe and heavy shoe lessons, ceili group dancing, creative crafts, songs, stories, and fun camp activities like bead collecting and the Coloring Cafe. Sessions run Tuesday–Thursday from 10am–2pm throughout July and August.
