Write Now offers creative writing programs for children, blending writing instruction with outdoor play and exploration.
Each summer, Write Now hosts Creative Writing and Nature-Play Camps for ages 8-12, where campers develop their writing skills, receive feedback, and participate in group games and nature activities.
Camps take place in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood of southeast Portland.
About the activity:
Explore creativity through storytelling and outdoor play at beautiful Mt. Tabor Park! Write the stories you want to tell while learning the 3 pillars of storytelling and sensory details. Small groups of 10-12 students. Ages 8-12, all writing levels welcome.
