Dive into the dynamic world of digital drawing and animation in this creative camp for youth ages 11–14, guided by teaching artist and illustrator Fry. Campers will use the illustration app Procreate to bring their drawings to life through movement, rhythm, and storytelling while exploring both individual projects and collaborative experiments. Along the way, they’ll learn digital illustration techniques, frame-by-frame animation, and simple motion graphics, practicing design thinking through storyboarding, testing ideas, revising work, and giving and receiving feedback. As campers experiment with visual narratives, character movement, and pacing, they’ll transform sketches into animated scenes, finishing the week with a small digital portfolio and a short animated piece to share in a showcase for friends and family—perfect for curious beginners and creative youth ready to level up their skills.
