Vitalidad Movement Arts Center (VMAC) offers youth dance programs focused on building motor skills, coordination, and creativity through choreography and movement.
Each summer, VMAC hosts themed dance camps for children ages 5 to 12, featuring activities like dance, arts and crafts, storytelling, and games.
The center is located in Portland’s Kerns neighborhood.
About the activity:
Young dancers ages 5–13 explore pop-culture inspired choreography at VMAC Next Gen’s themed summer camps in Portland’s inner east side. Rotating themes include Taylor Swift, K-Pop, Dance Crew Takeover, and Glow Party weeks. Mon–Thu mornings (9AM–12PM) blend performance skills, arts and crafts, and Friday family showcases.
