Tinker Camp is a hands-on maker and STEM-focused organization offering creative programs for youth interested in building, tinkering, and exploring technology.
Each summer, Tinker Camp runs camps and workshops for school-age children, with programming designed for a range of ages and experience levels.
Tinker Camp is based in the St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland.
About the activity:
Calling all engineers, builders, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders. In Cities in Your Future, tinkers work together to imagine, design, and build a model city that reflects the needs of a community—planned thoughtfully, built collaboratively, and constructed entirely to scale. This is more than just an engineering camp. It also incorporates civics, as tinkers form their own government and create the laws that shape their city.
