Hi-Note Music offers personalized music lessons in piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, and drums, taught by experienced local musicians.

Summer programming includes private lessons and a Rock Band class for students ages 6 and up, with groupings by age and skill level.

Located in the Cully neighborhood of northeast Portland.

About the activity:

Young musicians join a small group band coached by music pros to learn and perform classic rock and modern pop hits. Kids in grades 4-10 choose their songs, build real band chemistry, and close each week with a live Friday performance. Groups max out at 10 students for personalized attention. One to two years of prior music lessons recommended.
