Oregon Rowing Unlimited introduces youth to the sport of rowing through hands-on instruction and team-based activities.
Summer Learn to Row camps are open to students ages 12 and up, with both one-week and two-week sessions designed for beginners to build skills and confidence on the water.
Programs take place at the Oaks Park Community Boathouse along the Willamette River in southeast Portland.
About the activity:
Discover the sport of rowing on Portland's scenic Willamette River with Oregon Rowing Unlimited. Teens ages 12-18 learn water safety, rowing fundamentals, and proper technique through ergometer training and on-water instruction at the Oaks Park Community Boathouse. No prior experience needed. Half-day morning sessions available June through August.
