OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.
Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.
Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!
About the activity:
Calling all girls! Advance your STEM skills with LEGO Robotics using the newest LEGO SPIKE Prime kits. Campers will build abstract and critical thinking skills to tackle complex challenges, going beyond basic coding and foundational robotic engineering. This class offers a deeper dive into programming and hands-on play with the latest LEGO robotics technology.
*Held with grades 6-8
Note: This advanced class is for students in grades 4–8 who have completed an introductory LEGO Robotics class.
