Coding with Kids
Coding with Kids offers technology education programs that teach children and teens computer programming through hands-on projects and a progressive curriculum.
Each summer, Coding with Kids runs in-person coding camps for ages 5–18, with small group instruction and options ranging from beginner to advanced, including specialties like Minecraft Modding, Roblox, Python, and robotics.
Camps are held in various neighborhoods across major metro areas, including Portland, Seattle, Austin, Denver/Boulder, Phoenix, and more.
About the activity:
Students program BBC Micro:bit devices to create interactive gadgets, games, and sensors. This hands-on camp blends physical computing with Python and block-based coding, giving kids a tangible experience of how software controls hardware. All Micro:bit devices are provided for the camp.
