OMSI
OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.
Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.
Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!
About the activity:
Are you passionate about animals and want to learn the best ways you can help them? The zoo is working to be a model of sustainable conservation of natural resources, and this summer, you can discover what you can do too. This summer, you can learn what the zoo is doing by connecting with the staff, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the zoo, and having a hands-on learning experience. You might just end up seeing the world differently as you get to know how to assist local and global conservation efforts.
