Why stay dry when you can take on the Lower Deschutes River? Join fellow thrill-seekers for a three-day rafting expedition led by expert guides from Ouzel Outfitters. Navigate class I-III rapids, soak up the sun, and spot wildlife as you paddle through breathtaking basalt canyons. After a short stay at Camp Hancock, you'll head to the launch site, where the adventure begins. Each night, camp along the riverbank, enjoy warm meals, and sleep in tents or under the stars. Once we reach Maupin, Oregon, we’ll return to Camp Hancock for games, fun, and a celebratory dance party. Designed for campers 12 and older, no prior experience is necessary—just a love for adventure! All camping and river gear are provided. With intermediate physical activity, the camp takes place at Hancock Field Station in Fossil, Oregon, with transportation to and from OMSI. Check-in is at 7 a.m. on the first day, and pick-up is at 5 p.m. on the last day.
