Radius Art Studio is a community ceramics studio offering classes, workshops, and studio space focused on clay arts.
Each summer, Radius Art Studio offers youth ceramics camps and classes, with programming designed for school-age children.
The studio is located in the Belmont neighborhood of southeast Portland.
About the activity:
Teens ages 10–13 discover the art of pottery wheel throwing combined with handbuilding at this immersive week-long ceramics camp at Radius Art Studio on SE Belmont. Students explore multiple ways of working with clay in a small class capped at 8 for individualized coaching. Ideal for patient learners who enjoy hands-on challenges. Finished pieces are professionally fired and glazed, with pickup at the Young Artist Open House on Saturday, September 4th, 2:30–4pm.
