Dive into the world of podcasting in this immersive five-day camp for youth ages 11-14! Guided by teaching artist DJ Ambush, campers will learn everything they need to create their own audio stories from concept to completion. They’ll master storytelling basics, sound design, and recording techniques, discovering how to share their unique perspectives with the world. Hands-on activities include brainstorming topics, scriptwriting, conducting interviews, and using professional recording equipment and editing software to produce high-quality audio. Collaboration is key as campers work together to develop ideas, provide feedback, and co-host episodes. By week’s end, they’ll debut their polished podcast episode during a celebratory listening party for friends and family. It’s the perfect way to inspire creativity, collaboration, and confidence!
