Rose City Rollers is a nonprofit roller derby league dedicated to empowering women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals through the sport of roller derby.
Each summer, Rose City Rollers offers Junior Roller Derby Summer Camps for kids, providing instruction and community for young skaters.
Programs and events are held in the Central Eastside neighborhood of Portland.
About the activity:
At Roller Derby Summer Camp, beginner skaters ages 7–11 of all genders will roll into an action-packed week of fun, learning, and creativity! Campers will spend part of the day on skates building foundational derby skills and strategy, and the rest enjoying awesome off-skates activities like arts and crafts. Whether it’s their first time on wheels or they’ve just started skating, this supportive camp is the perfect place to gain confidence, make friends, and have a blast!
