Willamette Sailing Club
Willamette Sailing Club is dedicated to teaching small boat sailing and water safety to youth and adults, with a focus on hands-on learning and skill development.
Each summer, the club offers week-long sailing camps for ages 5-18, including beginner and intermediate classes for ages 8-11, with sessions led by US Sailing certified instructors.
Located on the Willamette River in the South Waterfront neighborhood of Portland.
About the activity:
Teens build real sailing skills in two-person C420 dinghies through drills, games, and on-water instruction at this 5-day Monday-Friday afternoon half-day camp. US Sailing certified instructors follow the beginner curriculum, making this a great first sailing experience. A swim comfort check with a life jacket is required. Ten summer sessions from June through August.
