Rebecca Hunnicutt Photography & Education offers photography sessions and hands-on digital photography classes for kids and teens, led by a professional photographer with a background in education and pediatric care.
Each summer, Rebecca Hunnicutt hosts week-long photo camps for ages 7–15, where students learn camera skills, composition, and storytelling through photography, with all equipment provided.
Camps and classes are held at outdoor locations in Northwest Portland, near Chapman Elementary, serving families throughout the Portland metro area.
About the activity:
Budding photographers ages 7-15 master manual mode, the exposure triangle, composition, and color theory in this hands-on 5-day summer camp. Each camper receives a Canon DSLR rental, course workbook 'Discovering Digital Photography,' and a digital gallery of their own photos to keep. Daily photo prompts and challenges build real-world skills, culminating in a group photo share at week's end.
