Willamette Sailing Club
Willamette Sailing Club is dedicated to teaching small boat sailing and water safety to youth and adults, with a focus on hands-on learning and skill development.
Each summer, the club offers week-long sailing camps for ages 5-18, including beginner and intermediate classes for ages 8-11, with sessions led by US Sailing certified instructors.
Located on the Willamette River in the South Waterfront neighborhood of Portland.
About the activity:
Young sailors learn to rig and sail one-person SailQubes in this 5-day Monday-Friday afternoon half-day camp on the Willamette River. US Sailing certified instructors deliver hands-on beginner and intermediate lessons with a focus on boat handling and water safety. Pair with the morning session in the same week for extra tiller time at a discounted rate. Ten summer sessions available.
