Summer programs are available for ages 5-12, featuring student-led activities such as wildcrafting, shelter building, games, and themed adventures.
Programs are based in the Rose City Park neighborhood of northeast Portland, with field trips to local parks and natural areas.
About the activity:
Child-led after-school outdoor exploration program at Rose City Park Elementary in NE Portland, led by instructor Alex Frost. Kids ages 4-14 develop curiosity and outdoor skills through place-based neighborhood adventures in a safe, inclusive environment. Drop-in at $50/day or enroll monthly with flexible scheduling. Pickup at 2:30pm from school; activities continue until 6pm at Rose City Park.
