Kids Community Learning Center (KCLC) has been nurturing young minds in Northwest Portland for over 40 years! Offering before and after-care for K-5 students at MLC, Chapman, and Ainsworth Elementary, KCLC creates a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids grow through creative exploration, meaningful relationships, and social-emotional learning. From art and science to literature and active play, every day is filled with exciting activities that spark curiosity and build confidence. Plus, they offer private music lessons year-round! About the activity:

At KCLC, our staff design exciting, hands-on activities across a variety of curriculum areas to keep kids engaged and having fun! Each week, children dive into science experiments, create unique art projects, play group games, explore language arts, splash around with water games, and enjoy plenty of free-choice play. Every activity is kid-focused, age-appropriate, and designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and connection—because learning is best when it’s super fun! *Note: No camp July 4th.
