One River School Lake Oswego offers contemporary art and digital design classes for kids, teens, and adults, with a focus on hands-on creative learning.
Each summer, the school runs a wide variety of art camps for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade, including studio art, digital art, sculpture, animation, and more, with programs grouped by grade level.
The school is located in the Kruse Way area of Lake Oswego.
About the activity:
Young sculptors design and build large-scale original monsters using plaster wrap over a wire and foam armature. Inspired by folklore creatures and friendly sci-fi characters, kids create their very own imaginative beast — then paint and embellish it with bright mixed-media details.
