One River School Lake Oswego offers contemporary art and digital design classes for kids, teens, and adults, with a focus on hands-on creative learning.
Each summer, the school runs a wide variety of art camps for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade, including studio art, digital art, sculpture, animation, and more, with programs grouped by grade level.
The school is located in the Kruse Way area of Lake Oswego.
About the activity:
Little artists sculpt their own dinosaur fossils and three-dimensional dino figures out of clay using slip-and-score joining techniques. Kids explore prehistoric subject matter through hands-on building, learning how to create standing figures and textured surfaces that mimic fossil specimens.
