One River School Lake Oswego offers contemporary art and digital design classes for kids, teens, and adults, with a focus on hands-on creative learning.
Each summer, the school runs a wide variety of art camps for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade, including studio art, digital art, sculpture, animation, and more, with programs grouped by grade level.
The school is located in the Kruse Way area of Lake Oswego.
About the activity:
Teens learn the 12 principles of animation in Adobe Animate, building technical skills through hands-on projects including frame-by-frame animation, onion skinning, tweening, and timing. Students produce five original animated GIFs to take home as shareable digital artworks.
